Regenerative medicine is what interested Shayne in coming to Nordquist Family Chiropractic and Regenerative Medicine. She has experience in helping patients who suffer from knee, shoulder, and hip pain, as well as pain in small joints such as the TMJ (temporomandibular joint), and joints of the hands and feet benefit from the life-changing effects of regenerative medicine and PRP (Protein Rich Plasma). Regenerative medicine is exciting because it allows the body to heal without the patient having to undergo surgery or dangerous drug treatments.Shayne comes to us from Northeastern Oregon where she most recently practiced as a Neurology NP, but she has had a long and varied healthcare career dating back to the 1970s. She was an RN for nearly 30 years before deciding to get her NP. Shayne has experience working in jail, the ER and ICU, on an ambulance, at the plant where the space shuttle and B-1 Bomber were built, and at a walk-in clinic for domestic violence and sexual assault.Shayne has been married for nearly 35 years to her junior high school sweetheart, and they have two grown daughters, a grandson, and a granddaughter. They make their home in Bremerton with two dogs, and they spend some of their spare time riding their Goldwing Trike and exploring the back-roads of the Pacific Northwest. They have family on the Olympic Peninsula and frequently go there to visit.
