Meet Our Staff
Shayne Yocum
Nurse Practitioner, ARNP
Regenerative medicine is what interested Shayne in coming to Nordquist Family Chiropractic and Regenerative Medicine. She has experience in helping patients who suffer from knee, shoulder, and hip pain, as well as pain in small joints such as the TMJ (temporomandibular joint), and joints of the hands and feet benefit from the life-changing effects of regenerative medicine and PRP (Protein Rich Plasma). Regenerative medicine is exciting because it allows the body to heal without the patient having to undergo surgery or dangerous drug treatments.
Shayne comes to us from Northeastern Oregon where she most recently practiced as a Neurology NP, but she has had a long and varied healthcare career dating back to the 1970s. She was an RN for nearly 30 years before deciding to get her NP. Shayne has experience working in jail, the ER and ICU, on an ambulance, at the plant where the space shuttle and B-1 Bomber were built, and at a walk-in clinic for domestic violence and sexual assault.
Shayne has been married for nearly 40 years to her junior high school sweetheart, and they have two grown daughters, a grandson, and a granddaughter. They make their home in Bremerton with two dogs, and they spend some of their spare time travelling in their RV, exploring the backroads of the Pacific Northwest. They have family on the Olympic Peninsula and frequently go there to visit.
Beth
Chiropractic Assistant
Beth became a part of the team here at Nordquist Family Chiropractic back in August 2018. When our patients initially come to our clinic, Beth does all of the medical intake work pertaining to injuries the patient has sustained from work, a car accident, or simply everyday life. She works directly with doctors to ensure that your chiropractic care is handled as well as possible. Aside from handling your patient intake, Beth also helps with any rehabilitation therapies that are a part of your treatment plan, such as strengthening your body’s muscles and teaching you stretches to improve your range of mobility. Beth looks forward to meeting you, so that she can help you and be a part of your wellness journey.
Karina
Front Desk Coordinator/Case Manager
Karina is Nordquist Family Chiropractic’s case manager and front desk coordinator, and her job is to greet the patients that come through the door and help them be ready for their appointments. When patients come in, she is the first person that they see. She is skilled at helping patients understand their insurance, and is able to help them deal with the confusion and stress that comes along with being the victim of a work injury or auto accident. She also helps in managing the flow of the clinic, and making sure that all of our patients are seen on-time. Karina is also the go-to person to ask about information on CBD products and regenerative medicine. Karina is particularly passionate about Regen, because she feels like it is a glimpse into the future of joint problem treatment. Karina looks forward to meeting you, and she is excited to help you live a pain-free, happier, and healthier life.
Dani
Office Manager
Dani became a part of the Nordquist Family Chiropractic team back in June of 2020. Her job is to take care of personal injury claims that our patients have, whether it be because of a work injury or a car accident injury. By setting up ultrasounds for you, taking x-rays for you, or fitting you for durable medical equipment such as knee braces, back braces, and cervical traction. Dani also works directly alongside your attorneys and car insurance, providing them with whatever information they need so that you can rest easy and so that your care will be as good as possible. When it comes to our patients, Nordquist Family Chiropractic goes above and beyond so that we can improve the lives of every person that comes through our doors. We hope to see you soon!
Amanda F.
Front Desk Coodinator
Amanda has been part of the team since November 2021. She began as a Chiropractic Assistant providing therapies to our patients and shortly after transitioned to the front desk. She is the first point of contact for patients over the phone and when they arrive in the clinic. Amanda manages the schedule for the providers and ensures a clinic flow that allows patients to be seen in a timely manner. Amanda has been in the role of Medical Reception and support for over 20 years. Her goal is that each patient has a positive experience from the moment they call or walk in the door.

OFFICE MANAGER & Billing Lead
Amanda became a part of the Nordquist Family Chiropractic team in July of 2021. Her primary goal is for patients to have a stress-free and seamless experience each time they come in. She is always happy to answer any questions you may have about your account, care, insurance, or statements. We accept a variety of health insurance, including all major types such as: Premera, Regence, Aetna, UHC Apple Health, Medicare, Kaiser, and First Choice Health. Amanda’s job is to verify the patient’s health insurance and communicate benefits. She wants to handle the stressful parts of the treatment process that deal with insurance, so that all of Nordquist Family Chiropractic’s patients can simply focus on their own health and healing.
Tiffany
Chiropractic Assistant
Tiffany became part of Nordquist Family Chiropractic in November of 2022. She primarily assists the doctors in providing therapies to our patients and ensuring patients receive quality care. She is our extra set of hands in the office and steps up wherever she can to help.
